Set among the leafy, established streets of Sydney's eastern suburbs, Park reimagines a modern family home through considered alterations and additions, its brief drawn from the quiet, unhurried luxury of an Aman resort.

Reworked from the ground up, the existing layout gives way to a new architecture of calm: rooms relocated, service spaces rationalised, and the home's rhythm rebuilt around connection and entertaining. Material choices are deliberately restrained, favouring presence over ornament and allowing each element to feel considered rather than decorative.

At its heart, a new sculptural spiral stair unfurls as the project's defining gesture, its plastered form curving through a double-height void with quiet theatre. Fluted timber wraps powder rooms in warmth, honed stone anchors sculptural basins, and a curved, art-lined corridor threads the plan together. In the kitchen, a marble-clad island anchors the room like a piece of sculpture, its veined stone playing against oak floors and full-height glazing to the garden beyond.

Living and dining spaces open generously toward established trees and greenery, with entertaining sitting firmly at the centre of the home. Warm, tactile, and deeply composed, Park translates the serenity of a resort into the language of considered, elevated family living.

Park House is built on the lands of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation.
