Carved into the coastline overlooking Tamarama Beach, The Second Act embraces beauty, brightness, warmth and approachability. While owned by a couple, the house is occupied by many – flexing to accommodate regular stays with children and grandchildren. A nursery, adaptable guest room and variety of living spaces support co-living and entertaining across multiple generations, with spaces to come together or retreat to in solitude.
As an avid cook with a published cookbook, the homeowner’s culinary interests are elevated by an expansive kitchen to host cooking events at home. A series of custom furniture pieces respond to the gentle curves of the architecture, while full height glazing connects opens to a broad balcony, inviting occupants to delight in shimmering sea views.
